Whatever you want to call it, a simple thought or a prayer, please keep our Mud buddy Mark 'Mo' Weitzel (Slomo) in your thoughts on Thursday, December 17.

Mark is scheduled for open heart surgery. This is heavy stuff, but nothing this guy can't handle with all he's been thru for those that know what he's tackled in his life. They've caught the issues early which is great news in itself.

He's young, tough, fit and has a great attitude in addition to a great supportive family at home, work and here on MUD. He's in great hands and will come through this with flying colors.

Brand new Fox shocks for his cruiser will just have to wait a little while on his work bench!!

Posting this because, self-servingly, he didn't want to tell us himself but good thoughts to a great person from all of us please. Posts here he'll see eventually, otherwise let's let him channel everything into his recovery and respect his privacy. He'll let us know when he's ready after the surgery, but should at least be home for Christmas!

Mark does so much for so many people in his life - he deserves all the good that can come to him right now.

Thanks!

Brent, thanks for posting this.

I hope all goes well - as if he hasn't had enough already (!!) - and hope for a full, speedy recovery.....!

Mo you'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Mo your in my thoughts and prayers.

The work you have done on your 80 inspired a lot of us to dream big.

Just dropped in to see whats going on with the group - and read this. Don't mess with those Filipino nurses - just say Ku-ya or A-te and they'll treat you right!

Good luck and speedy recovery to you, Mo!

Wishing you and your family well Mo'. Speedy recovery man.

Speedy Recovery wishes to you Slomo!

This is about all I can think about today hoping all goes well.

well? anyone heard any news?

At best he'd have been released yesterday or today. I'm not going to bother he or the family at this time. All their effort needs to be with Mark and not us. It's killing me not knowing as I think about him every day all day hoping he's come through yet another surgery as the champion he is. As soon as I hear anything at all, I'll post it here.

Post from Mark's wife Renee on Facebook:

"RC cars & Barbies that ride horses are pretty cool, but bringing this guy home in new & improved condition was the greatest gift of all!"

That's all I know, but sounds like good news! He's got plenty of cardiac rehab ahead of him but sounds great so far!!

Outstanding news!

Good to hear!

Haven't heard anything more than I posted above. I'm wanting to leave he and the family alone as he heals. I may reach out in a month or so as he 'should' be in cardiac rehab by then.
