Thinking of Buying a Welder....Suggestions?

I'm looking into buying a welder for working on the 74 FJ40 ect. and odd jobs, projects ect.. I'm leaning towards a MIG but I need suggestions. I'm basically a novice when it comes to welding.

Can I get some opinions on brands, sizes, ect ?

Hh 180

I like my Hobart 180, kind'a wish it had a longer lead at times. If your going to use gas with it, you got to also figure cost of leasing/ buying your own tank, if your trying to stay within a budget. Al
