It is a sad and dark day for me, but I am considering parting out my 40
.......... mainly for two reasons, the first being I am in debt up to my eye balls because of the 40, and second I no longer have a place to keep my 40 now that I have moved out of my house in Clemson, it currently resides 2 hours away at my sisters place. Also I just can't rely justify having two landcruisers at this point in my life, especially when I use one of them rarely.
I would just sell the 40, but after rolling it last fall and trashing the body....... I think I would do better money wise to part it....
so if anyone in the club wants a killer drivetrain....... I have a rebuilt 2F, tranny, and t-case. The engine and Tranny were done by Urban landcruisers little more than a year ago and the t-case was rebuilt by Classic Cruisers about the same time. All in all in the drivetrain I have close to $4500
when you count in the carb. rebuild..... and the drivetrain has maybe 1500 miles on it at best.
if anyone is interested let me know, I am still mulling this idea over...... but at the moment I think it is the right thing to do
