I assume everyone knows the rear door (stock arm) has a lock out. I see the conversion to a ram and I never understood why. On a hill, offroad the ram can get overweight and come back at you. I just open, push the cam lock, and it stays put no matter what.
I'm of the same mindset- why fix it if it's not broken? Although, there are still times that I forgot I locked it and try to close the hatch which can't be good for the hinges.
Not sure if it was here or GXOR but I have read of only one case where the lockout mechanism actually broke.
