Yeah. You should read back on this thread and see how this odyssey started. This was a total pile of s***.

My entire rear flares on both sides are poorly done by me with bondo and fiberglass and whatnot. One day if I can find some decent rear flares to get @nvrlose54 at Shaw Fab to weld in.

Until then the good thing is that it’s sealed from getting into the cab of the truck and I filled all the crossmembers and cavities up with expanding foam so nothing is getting inside the body

Someone told me some trailer fenders are pretty dam close to fitting and can but cut/welded in.

Just cut pig lips from a set of front fenders. The front fender flares will work for the rear. Just swap LF to RR and RF to LR It takes a little tweaking, but they are as close a match as you will ever be able to find. That said, it is a lot of work to do.

One day I’ll have to fix my fender flares. For now, I’ll keep stuffing this ridiculously bad body with great innards.

I replaced my horrible shop lights with LEDs. Now you can really see how much of a pile it is :)

Taking my first long trip in the Warthog since the 4.4/H55 swap. Other than it being 10,000 degrees in Mississippi with no AC this has, so far, been an amazing day. I’ve traversed some of Mississippi’s most remote backroads and national forests working my way north to meet @FJ60Cam for a bit of dyno tuning Thursday morning.

I can’t wait to see what the numbers look like.

Dyno timing sounds awesome. Can’t wait to see the numbers.

Rig looks goooood. I have a H55 in my garage and I have a buddy that jsut did the swap. He says he should have done it years ago!
You lov'n it?

It’s damn nice.

I pulled a 300 mile trip off yesterday with about 200 of it being gravel roads. The truck performed amazing. The suspension is stiffer than my worn in 60 series with the same shocks but softer OME Springs. The body mounts are not great and of course there are some rattles, but for the most part it’s great.

I do need to finish my exhaust to turn out behind the wheel. I’ll add a nice free flow cat while I’m at is as the only complaint besides being hot as hell was the fumes.

...but a pig on a dyno is quite the sight to see!

Dyno numbers. We want dyno numbers!

So pleased. Cam is going to science it out over there. I’ll do a Cliff Notes version after in this thread for guys like Bob that are scared to venture out of the society 🥴

If you think it is hot now, wait until you add a cat. You better add plenty of heat shield...

Or better yet, add heat shield and skip the cat. Just route the exit so you are not sucking fumes in...

I added one on my 60 and it literally killed all the fumes. It was routed right but these
EFIs make a lot of fumes.

I’ve got so many layers in the Pig now, the heat is not really coming from the body it’s just there is no good airflow.

Plus yesterday I had to keep the rear window up because of all the dust. Today on all pavement and all windows open it was not nearly as bad
