Did the ABS light come on as well?

Don’t think so. But not sure. My Koso gauge hides the ABS light unless I’m looking for it. I’ll have to check next time it happens.

My guess is it did not. If the coupler had actually locked the ABS light should have also come on. At that speed the ABS will remain locked-out (light stays on) even after the coupler un-locks. To re-set it the ignition must be cycled.

In other words some other electrical hitch caused that indicator to come on. I have a phantom CDL issue with my truck as well. Different than yours however.

Yeah, come to think of it, it didn’t come on. And my ABS still worked because I pulled on to some ice on that same trip and it kicked on when I braked.

Rather than muddy up the weekend thread...

Chasing an issue on my 93. Sounds like metal scraping. Thin metal. Almost like if you wear your brake pads down too far...

Checked the knuckles this morning. Had to bust out a new grout bag and new can of grease.

Shout out to @Heckraiser @landcrshr and @jonheld for helping me walk through this...

I’ll be able to work on it this evening and pull the front drive shaft to check the slip yoke.

On my 93 when I picked it up...

Dammnn. Is it just the hood, or did it mess up anything else?

Got the core support too. Can probably be bent back out with a bfh.

The hood is toast.

@69LC I’d take whichever one. Just make it the burgundy one. I’m just going to rattle can paint it anyway. No sense in ruining a good white hood. Plus having a burgundy hood would complete the trifecta/holy trinity of s***ty 80 series colors. Mine is currently part dark green and black.

I’d take the core support too. With the hood latch attached to it. Just in case.

No need for the moon roof.

Figure out shipping cost and I will PayPal or ApplePay you the $$$.

i dont have one right now. well i do but i dont trust it. truck was in a slight fender bender and i think it might be tweaked :(

Ok. I won’t be home until Monday evening, but hopefully I can get @jacamp003 to take some pics for you. I don’t have an extra radiator support, but hit up @slow95z.

Not concerned about condition as long as it isn’t rusty or caved in. Going to rattle can paint it any way. All improvements on my 93 have the goal of making it “less sh!tty”.

I think I can tweak the core support back with a bfh or winch.

Did you find a hood yet or are you still waiting for me to get home? I fly tomorrow.

Waiting on you to get home.
