Can you take a picture from farther back with the JW Speakers installed.. I have a set from a previous project that I was thinking about dropping in but I'm curious to see what they look like on the Freeborn Red with the white bib...

Thanks.

Well a while back I went to OEM wheels and BFG 33X10.5x15 tires as the 12.5’s and the aftermarket wheels my 40 came with had flared my rear fenders. Just recently with the 10.5’s I noticed a very slight bend. Upon closer inspection I noticed the head of the spring pin in the rear leafs was broken and the axles had moved like 1/2 inch rear ward. So today @JackA and I dug into it and checked it all out and out in new bolts. Hopefully problem fixed. Anyone else experience this? Big thanks to Jack. Also learned a lot today

Now I wonder how long I have been driving it around with broken pins/bolts and rearward slippage?

enjoyed your thread my grandparents live in ashfork and my aunt in prescott valley im gona keep my eye out for your cruiser the next time im out there:cheers:

Thanks Dave, hard to say how long those bolts/pins have been sheared. We took our time made sure everything was lined up, big thanks to Jack. Will try and get her articulated in the next week and will be checking those nuts on the U bolts in the next few outings.

@troy scott let me know when you get up here on weekends. Be happy to show you the addiction, ha ha

Finally resealed my cowl seam. Big thanks to @GA Architect Rick, the 3M Urethane Seam sealer worked excellent and easy to work with as well!

@DSB345 Dave who knows how long the bolt/pin has been sheared. It was pretty rusty as well. Cleaned up with new hardware. I will be watching it AND my rear fender area.

Finally have repro mud flaps installed. Had to re-route exhaust pipe on passenger side and the Ariens universal mud flap brackets needed to be modded too. Some shims to limit rattle of flaps in brackets needed as well. Overall, very pleased.
