Popsicle sticks. Another tip from my Chinese cousin: Lo Tec.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy some Popsicles.

I remember making caramel apples as a kid. Popsicle sticks were sold separately way back then. Something my wife was quick to point out to me. So Popsicle sticks not Popsicles went on the shopping list. She also pointed out the close to eighty mile trip home from the grocery store Popsicles would probably melt even in the ice chest.
