Not to say birfs dont fail but it usually has to do with 37s and hammering the skinny pedal at full lock...that sort of thing. Id venture to say theres never been a birf failure on a non modified 80 that had proper maintainence on the axle. Maybe even without proper maintenace.
 
Don't know what the video said about the limited, but the shocks shouldn't be something to stop a person from buying. All you do is swap in normal shocks whenever you're ready to do it.

Same trip snapped this pick. I like the 250 sans roof rack. Kind of surprised TMNA let one leave the port like this.
