It's worlds apart from the bulletproof 4.2-liter inline-six that originally powered the truck, but this swap is unbelievably clean.
I have to be honest when I say I drove a LS1 swapped 60 with the toyota 5 speed behind it and it drove amazingly well Was able to put it in 4wd and put it through some fields and it was awesome. The fact it had AC and no strange noises, smoke or burned oil was another level.
Now imagine how amazing it would be if Toyota themselves sold a kit to do that.... 60s would become a super hot commodity!

On the flip side, the wheel base will make it a nice car to make long-distance drives in. I like it.
I went back and looked at the cut away pictures. Check out the rear mounted transmission. The power goes back to the tail of the transmission then uses a small drive shaft going foward to the rear diff. Crazy.
