Not long after, I upgraded to 37x14.50x17 bias Iroks on 17x8 steelies… Mounted in my driveway with a little help from a buddy:

So how hard was this to do? I tried mounting stock tires on stock rims and it seemed impossible. I gave up and had a shop do it. I can't imagine trying to mount Iroks. I would love to mount my own tires as I don't use wheel weights and I would save money.

Thanks for the pics and whats the bs on your wheels? I am sure its listed but I am lazy.

You ever have the urge for bigger tires? Or you feel those are adequate

I am thinking of buying a diesel truck and towing the 80 that way can beat on it worry free and save on fuel. You have done similar in a way and just thinking through my options. Looking awesome man, keep the pics coming!

It's not that hard at all. Having 2 people helped a lot. It's a lot easier to mount a tire with a bigger sidewall. Just lube it up well and work it on...
What did you use for lube?

That was exactly my reasoning for getting my Dodge... that and I love hot rodded diesels! My 80 doesnt need a trailer but it is nice not worrying about getting home!

Thx guys.

This last weekend I was able to join the Jefferson State Cruisers on their annual McGrew Trail Ride. As usual, they put on a top notch event! This is one of my favorite TLCA events, so if you get the chance to go next year I would highly recommend it.

Anyway, enough babbling... Here are the pics of Jillian from the trip:

OMG! Jillian is clean!!!

As usual, I was helping to lead the pack so by the time the camera was out I was already up the trail. I can't complain though, that's usually where I like to be...

Interesting. I would never pass.
