Almost forgot how cool this was...

Yeah, I was able to check this out in person in my home town! Travis is nuts! His dad and step-mom come in to my store all the time for catering orders...all including Travis are super nice people.

That's pretty cool. Also amazed it went from 2.7 to 5 tons I bet that's a handful off road.
I am still holding out for one of these.....

Just publicly declaring how much extra he has spent on his truck?!? Rookie mistake. He must not be married. 🤣
Truth.
Everything I do on mine is either cash or some form of “mechanical repair” that I line item through the business or farm.
I know she knows but she is cool with it because she enjoys the rides

80k on top of purchase price? Wow, sucks when you have to pay someone to do everything...
bro, there's $2,400 worth of window tint on it! wtf?!? lol

Rant about ordering Toyota parts online:
Last Tuesday ordered belt moldings (window weatherstrip) for my 03 Taco from Jim Hudson in SC. They were the cheapest by a couple of bucks.
Arrived around 7PM on Thursday. Amazing, that was fast!
Go to install on Friday AM and find them mangled inside the box. Call the parts dept to get replacements, but told that I have to go through their "insurance" provider. What the shyte is this??? I just want my parts.
So I wait on an email link to some shytebox company called "Provide." It's all AI. Miserable. Answer questions. Can't get any where. Reword my answers over and over until I get to the point where I have to take photos. Finally get through it all and receive email that my request is "pending."
Meanwhile, I go to my local craphole Toyota dealer later on Friday AM and have the parts in-hand on Saturday. Albeit for $20 more.
So now it's Sunday, and an email arrives stating my claim is approved. I have been issued a friggin debit card to use at Revolution parts. Not a refund... A credit.
OK, I need some LCA's for my '95 Taco, so I clicky the link to shop and it's dead. There's another link in the email and it has the transaction information, turns out to not be mine.
Now I have to call during business hours and try to get this sorted.

Absolutely fcuking ridiculous.

Ended up disputing the charge with my CC issuer. NFW am I going to jump through hoops on this.
Contacted the 3rd Party provider and they couldn't fix the problem in real time. They had me send screen shots of what I was seeing on their system. Also confirmed that the "refund" would be a store credit.

I don't know if all mailorder Toyota parts sites are doing this BS now, but I will absolutely be checking in the future. What if somebody placed a large dollar order and had a problem? They're not getting a refund... are you friggin kiddin me??? My problem was only $110, but I'm still going to fight to the bloody end for that amount. Can't imagine if this was a grand, or something.

For that price you could almost drive down there, throw the parts across the counter and have them give you new ones and drive home.
Not including the costof your time

CC dispute is the way to go. I've had good luck in the past with American Express on two occasions and they were very helpful.

Hope you get it worked out and thanks for sharing the dealer. Now we know who to avoid...
