Thankfully, not my 4Runner... owner was mostly ok despite lighting up a cigarette next to his truck after a can of propane or butane had leaked out its contents inside. Hands down one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

Saw that. Insane. And a good reminder to think about matching the use case to the vehicle. Everyone knows that a 4Runner can't handle gas explosions. For that, you need an 80-series.

In an 80...all of the rock hard leaking rubber window seals will make sure there is no gas left in the car to explode in the first place
 
Sorry to hear that. I am sure it is infuriating. Between people climbing under and sawing off the catalytic converters and theft in general the only solution I can see is go diesel and a manual transmission. My theory is that most ne'er-do-wells will just move on to the next car. At this point I'm all manual minus one and that one may go away soon.

"Ne'er-do-well" is a derogatory term for a good-for-nothing person; or a rogue, vagrant or vagabond without means of support. It is a contraction of the phrase never-do-well.
