This one doesn't have a name yet either

The blue truck has been great, but it has 80k on it with multiple cross country trips, so it's time someone else enjoys it. So it's now owned by one of our sales guys (Corey if you have seen him in any of our videos) and he's stoked. So the new build starts now.

Why not go all-in? Pro time, let's go!

So why a Pro over a TRD Off-Road Premium? Uh, Pro in the headlights... duh. No seriously, in my area, the pricing of the Off-Road Premium is a few thousand less than the Pro. I can make up some of that by selling off the wheels and tires and suspension to someone that would like to upgrade. The rest is hood scoop, taillight, door badge tax I guess

First mod! (how does a $45k truck not have hood struts? 👎)

Second "mod" cheapie Amazon inserts and center console tray (Amazon product ASIN B07NRWR1JB)
Huge install I know

Tonight's work. Test fitting our Blitz Aluminum slim front bumper prototype. We've had these in steel for a while, but the aluminum saves 20lbs or so. I love the look, so I probably won't cut it up for our full bumper for quite a while. A few little changes for production and it should be good to go (y)

Just two cuts on the bumper fascia. Technically if you wanted to go back to stock, you could "drift stitch" zip tie the center portion back in and the black front bumper cover would cover everything.

Bend or cut on this line and a Warn VR EVO fits with the selenoid box still installed.

WARN VR EVO 8S and Baja Designs S8 20" Driving/Combo bar installed and ready to bolt in the truck. Also installed an Anderson Connector on the power cables because we swap bumpers to test often.

Lookin’ good!

@Victory 4x4 Hey Daryl! I guess I didn’t see your new build thread on TW. I just installed your strike aluminum bumper on my ‘17. I love it. I am looking at the Warn EVO line to install in the new bumper. Does the 10S fit or should I stick with the 8S? It’s hard to tell from the specs but they look identical in size. I’m not sure that is correct. I recently installed a 10S on a Jeep and it looks huge. That being said I haven’t seen an 8S IRL.

Here is the post about my install. Had the help of my Uncle.

If I had to make one suggestion with would be for plate washer instead of fender washer that mounts the bracket around the frame. The supplied washers were a little small for the elongated hole on the frame.

Overall I really like your products. I put your skids, front and mid, on my truck as well.

Cheers!

The EVO 8s and 10s are the same sizes. You can actually bend or cut the sheet metal bracket that goes from the core support to the front bumper support (above the winch) and you can fit the VR with the selenoid box attached. Thanks for the note on the tie-ins, will check the bolt packs.
