Feeling the need to defrost after last weekend (https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-mud-100-series-photos-thread.91953/page-374#post-9749258), took the 100 toward Tucson in search of saguaros.

Drove up the back side of Mt. Lemmon and found a nice little camping spot among the trees

Found more than a few saguaros in a likely place, Saguaro National Park

Camped somewhere in the Sonoran desert with 360 degree views, thousands of saguaros, and not a soul for miles

So quiet you could practically hear the sun set

Achieved a personal average cruising speed record along the way. Not so good for gas mileage.

San Rafael Swell this weekend

Finally getting caught up with the clean up of Overland Expo this year, but Sunday was awesome in Arizona.
Friday & Saturday were definitely not what one would expect in May.

The best shot of Snoverland 2015 for me.
Out my back window waiting for the Rover owner to hook up the tow strap. Pulled him out without an issue.

And the Sunday drive to Scottsdale found some awesome back roads.

Spent the long weekend exploring Colorado... trying to avoid rain, snow, elk and deer.
More importantly, I picked up a new Gamiviti rack from Tim on the way down (solid guy, and really digging the rack). Beautiful drive, but we didn't see much sun until we were back in Utah...

Just an idea of how much water we've gotten in the past week...The Arkansas river is at 23.8ft (flood stage is 23ft) and flowing into adjacent parking lots. It makes for a fun little joy ride!

^^ That's brave! How do you know where you're going?

The current flowing through the parking lot was pretty strong and I could see the ripples it was making where it was jumping the curb. Definitely took a bit of bravery and trust considering my past experiences with high water....:bang:

Met one of my truck's distant relatives in a parking lot today. Saw this nice 80 Series parked at the end of the lot coming back from grocery shopping and snapped a quick pic.

I never got around to posting these from a few months back at Rowher Flats OHV in Santa Clarita, CA. This was my first time offroading so I think I got introduced real well and did pretty good on the trail with the only limiting factor being my not so excellent tires. The Lexus is a 2003 with about 110k miles so the AHC is still pretty darn functional. I didn't have an issue with the running boards until we headed back and I got stuck being a little over confident. That might be fate telling me to get some rock sliders after the tires.

Going up
