Probably my favorite color on the 100s. I remember one popped up in Dallas with 59k original miles, but I snoozed. I can't seem to forget it. Arrgh.
spressomon: The ladder is not custom, IIRC it is from a small JDM company and is designed to fit the 100 (I picked it up second hand from a friend).
LEX: I really wanted a white one, but this green 2000 was too nice to pass up. And, my first Cruiser, an FJ40, was green; it's full circle for me.. in color at least.
Coming down from Laurel Lakes outside Mammoth, CA.

Yes, my wife is South African... I picked up the ZA sticker from AA along with the sticker on the front bumper to tow a boat through Mozambique

Here's a shot of our 100 Series Family Overlander Build. It's still a work in progress with plenty of goodies not yet on the truck.
Here's a semi-frontal shot with the ARB bumper, high intensity LED 7" lights, etc.
While not as close as this animal encounter in suburban San Diego, https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/what-did-you-do-on-your-70-series-today.804784/page-9#post-9731830 , I came across this little guy while cruising past Lyon's Ranch in Redwood National Park. Decided to drive a bit more before looking for a place to camp that night.
Got back from a trip to the San Juans with a few guys from the Colorado Land Cruisers. Good times, Lotsa snow!
Heading up from Silverton to Animas Forks:
Tried to make it up California to Corkscrew, but still closed

Went around Picayune Gulch instead:
Then did Engineer and Cinnamon the next day:
Will definitely be headed back to this area in the future.
