your 100 is the only other one besides mine that has the plastic trim pieces above the tires. Does anyone know if this was an extra option or what the deal is? I'd kinda like to remove mine

There are LOTS of 100s out there with those fender flares. It was a dealer installed option for the gulf states area. Search for gulf states and you'll find many references.

Slowly stepping my photography skills up. Thought everyone deserved a pic that doesn't look like it was taken with a potato - I am only at iPhone quality for the time being. Hopefully I'll be able to get some shots with my DSLR later this week. Loving this new set up!
Did some desert hiking and exploring with the family. Also rode some small dunes which was fun.
