Really, there aren't many vehicles out there engineered for a third world lifecycle, sold into a first-world market, with few if any major mechanical changes. These things certainly are beasts. Now, I think you need to take a few weeks and vacation in
Arizona to properly dry the vehicle. If there's any moisture in it anywhere, a week or so in the desert will pull it out at the molecular level.
Man I believe you and that sounds like what I need. Just got to find the time to take a road trip out there, I live in Arkansas. The only thing I'm worried about is my engine control module glitching halfway into the road trip leaving me stranded and forcing me to tow it all the way back. I think I'm going to put a few hundred miles on it here in town before I commit to any long-distance travels. The dealership tested it with their diagnostic computers and said everything is fine but better safe than sorry!
