Rover4, count me in! Spend a lot of time in the Panamints, Inyos and Argus range. My older brother and I are writing a historic book on the Saline Valley Salt Tram. Do lots of hiking and backpacking up there too.

An oldie I came across while dreaming of getting outside.

Barely fit into the garage anymore! That's between the roof rack and the bottom of the door (<.25")

Send them over to my house when they're finished. And when I say my house I do mean my house. the 60's garage door height (headers, floor stringers, etc.) won't allow the 100 inside.

I had my previous home built with 8' garage doors. Boy do I miss them.

Did this late last year after i bought a house and realised the 100 didn't fit in the garage...

Raised it about 20" so now i can get in and out with roofrack + stuff on roof and 35's.

Garage turned out nice, with 2 cars inside i still have room to work.

As long as you know what you're doing, and winds are calm there is no problems lifting your house. Just get enough jacks.
I did the garage with only three 20t jacks, did one side at a time, raising it about 2" before moving to other side.
Garage is 8x8sqm with large office and storage room in second floor.

Muddy, I briefly ran a steel business that created bomb plating for Humvees in Iraq during the war. Our product was essentially reinforcement steel that was welded to the side and underside of vehicles to prevent damage from IED blasts.

Even then, the plating only did so much. Basically, trying to reinforce Humvees was a very limited strategy. It's plenty easy to pack ordinance and bury it. That helped spawn MRAPs, etc..

IED's are an evolution of warfare, much like artillery in WWI. It's not going away.

I would love to see how Slee's belly plate would hold up to this kind of explosive!
