new to me 98 with 202k miles and just runs and looks great. No leaks, noises and everything works as it should.

This weekend i used Duplicolor Perfect Match spray paint in Natural white available from any parts house (Oreilly, Advance, AutoZone ect) to paint my door trim.

I'm amazed with how well it matched. Hit it with 600, degreased 4 light coats of color and 2 heavier coats of clear. i used maybe 3 cans of color and one of clear. Each can was $7.

Tires/lift are coming soon and Metric TLC leather seat covers will be in the mail as soon has Shane Finishes them for me. Mud has been a great resource these last few months while i have been hunting down the perfect truck.

wow, that looks fantastic!!!

i wonder what trim color i could do besides the gray....
thanks for this!!!
home project!

Thanks, took about 1.5 local weekly business papers.

word of advice to other colors besides white. DO A TEST PANEL!!! Simple White is just about the easiest color in the world to match. So be sure to do a test panel before you get fully commited.

There are a few here in Qatar with white bumpers, white trim, but with the silver strip still in the trim.

Looks GREAT with dark tinted windows and some balck acsessories like roof rack, OEM tyre carrier and sliders!

unfortunatley this cruiser is no longer with us thanks to a stray cow  but it has been replaced with a 105!! the difference offroad is noticable to say the least!
This was the result of the cow, I dont want to turn this thread into crashed cruisers but thought it might highlight how strong these 4x4s actually are. I hit the cow doing 100kmh (60mph) it was standing in the middle of the road and I had nowhere to go as another car was coming the other way. 2 adults and 4 kids on board no injuries at all!!
ouch.webp

You were going so fast the cow didn't even have time to bleed on it. Glad you are ok.

Went out for a drive last night to test out the new HIDs.

No tri-pod, so I just set the camera on my sandal...it works I guess.

Need someone to go sweep out the garage, or take the garbage out when you get back.................??

Engine er, Nice job on the trim painting. I have had cans of color matched paint from NMB Paint Sales on my shelf all summer and am planning to do the same, including the bumpers. I just don't care for my bronzy accent color. Thanks for posting your work.

Butch, where is that at?

Hatteras, NC Trip

Hit Cape Hatteras, NC for 3 days of fishing. Beautiful weather. The half worn Duratracs did great on the beach. I did not even air down. With a slow start the Duratracs would not dig in. If you punched it they did. The destruction from hurricane Irene was incredible. There were mountains of debris. Luckily the NCDOT installed a temporary military style bridge over the channel cut by the Hurricane and we did not have to deal with any ferries.

The Spresso Santa Came Today

My Spressofab HD lower control arms came in today. To say these things are beefy would be insulting. I added the K-Bar for scale and fun!! Why not? Thanks Dan, these are awesome. I love coming home to truck parts.
