They are just 1/4" thick strips of HDPE, (high density polyethylene), which is a durable and somewhat slippery material.

I was thinking carabiners but then you'd need side to side slack unless you did them to the floor. Or this guy who used turnbuckles (just be sure to attach the lower bolt not like his).
