A few months ago I bought “The King” from @2001LC for my wife. It’s quite possibly the most well maintained and nicest 2001 in the country.
Why am I selling so soon you ask? Well my wife wanted a LX but I talked her into getting a Land Cruiser from Paul because I had been following Paul’s threads. She had a Lexus before and is not happy with the Land Cruiser. so now I’m buying her a 06 LX.
I’d keep it for myself but I have a 04 that I take off road. “The King” is a garage queen and way too nice for what I like to do with a Land Cruiser.
Paul is quite legendary on this forum for his knowledge and meticulous detail. My wife has put maybe less than 1000 miles on it since it was delivered.
So here are the details.
- 2001 with 170,248 on the clock
- I believe I’m the 3rd owner
- meticulously maintained by @2001LC
- the only item that needs to be addressed is the drivers seat lumbar
- I just replaced the head unit, speakers and sub
- TB and WP will need to be replaced in about 20k. It was last done at 97,500
- I’ve got brand new 18 inch Tundra take-offs I’ll throw in, I was gonna put them on when I got new tires
- I’ve got a detailed spreadsheet with all maintenance done I will pass along with Paul’s permission
I’ll post up some photos when the snow melts and it warms up. It’s crazy cold in Atlanta today.

I’m asking $15,000. If you fly into Atlanta I’ll pick you up or I’ll help with delivery. I used Aaron at Summit Transport to get “The King” here, he was great to deal with and is a member on MUD. I think it was around $750 to have it shipped here from Denver. PM me with any questions.
