Selling my 2001 Land Cruiser. We keep it as an extra car in Colorado and now it has issues more than I want to deal with which I’ll list below. Bought in August 2020 with 244K miles, now has 262K miles. Car has been lifted, has new KO2 tires, a car play compatible head unit, and front seat covers.
It appears the transmission is bad, as diagnosed by Boulder Toyota, and in need of rebuild or replacement. The car was working pretty well up to that point. The muffler needs to be replaced, you can hear it coming from a mile away but sounds pretty cool if you like that. There is some rust but it was never communicated as in the frame. I can’t share pictures other than past onesI’v attached because it’s at Boulder Toyota and I’m not in CO - yet. Will post more pics when I can and also happy to meet someone there to physically inspect it. I should be there around the week of the 4th.
Asking $2500 OBO, this is a great opportunity for someone that knows how to get the work done reasonably. I am not responding to bottom feeders and won’t be scammed. I’ll get it fixed and keep it if no offers are reasonable, but I’m looking for the easy button. I have title in hand, I’ll look for cash or cashiers check only and we can sign the bill of sale and transfer the title all at once with the money in person so it’s clean and clear for both sides.
