OK, fellas. Good luck to everyone tomorrow (except of course to any BC lurkers I don't know about)... :grinpimp:

The weekend is starting out well for the Deacs after just taking down UVA to move to the finals of the Men's Soccer ACC Championship and the Field Hockey team moving to ACC Final as well.

It's going to be COLD for us tomorrow night in Groves.

Go DEACS!!!

Tigers in a romp, Decs shock the Eagles, Canes get a wheel out
of the ditch, Cocks make the Hogs to squeel, the Vols hit an
inmovable wall of Tigers and Gators find the Commadores are
more than just a Mensa club but still not equal to the task.
Brrrr.....it's going to be perfect football weather.

to the victors go the spoils

Well, my predictions are getting better. 50% this weekend.
Go Deacons! LSU is one tough football team. Gators are probably
licking their chomps at the prospects of a chicken dinner in the
Swamp next weekend. Po ol Gamecocks get one last chance at
knocking off a football power this year. Slim chance for sure but
I think they go down there and give a could accounting.
I feel for the Tigers and Canes this year. So much promise and hope
now all but dashed on the rocks.

That bet. But I have won one since Clemson has lost again. Thats two. So I plan on collecting my bet next weekend. You will probably win the second bet and at that time I will pay up.

Well, I am sorry I missed the golf tourney but that was one of the most fun home games I've been to - maybe ever.

Even had a little fun talking smack to Richard and JP from the tailgating festivities. :grinpimp:

It's a good time to be a Deac! 3 tough reg. season games left but 8-1 and the conference lead is a nice place to be this week. Good pic below, although the final score is wrong (21-14 was the score).

Go DEACS!!! :smokin:

Come on fellas, if this isn't irony, I don't know what is...

The Wake fan is the only one still talking pig skin?? 3 tough games coming up for us, this landscape can change very quickly!!!

What about some bowl predictions??

Richard - You coming to Charlotte for your second game of the year in BofA stadium?? If you decide to travel this time (like the only team that could pull that many fans on a Thursday night minus your of course), you can leave that Guinness in the back of the 40 if I'm not home. :grinpimp:

Why would I be coming to Charlotte we don't play there. As for bowl projections we will probably end up in the Peach after we win our last 2. I dont see us going to the one in Charlotte they already accepted Navy to play an ACC team and there is no way they want to hang Navy out to that sort of ass whipping. I figure Peach like usual they love us cause we travel so well. Probably UT, Auburn, or LSU on the other side. I wouldnt be surprised if Wake finishes second in the ACC after losing in Jacksonville then gets shafted and goes to Charlotte or Orlando or even boise. The bowls want to make money and traveling 27 fans doesnt do that.

Ha, LOL. That's what I am talking about. Give us some credit Richard, we might have 127 fans after a season like this! :grinpimp:

Glad to see you have Wake getting to the ACCCG in Jax. There's still a lot of football to be played but that would be nice.

No way Wake goes to Boise at this point and no way you guys get Peach - esp after NCSU takes you down at home this weekend. ;)

Mark it down, you'll be playing in the Muffler shoot out against Navy in CLT.

There is 100% no way they will put us in that game. No one wants to see that kind of blowout they are going for good matchups. Maybe we would go to the music city nut bowl or whatever in Tenn but we arent going to Charlotte.

UM PLayer shot and killed tonight

Just heard on another board that Bryan Pata, University of Miami defensive end, was shot and killed tonight shortly after practice. This has been a bad year for UM and it only seems to get worse as the years moves on. :frown:

No other details at this time. Bummer.

Probably has to do with that fight some UM guys got in the other night. They need a serious house cleaning again. This team is bringing back memories of the 1980's.
