Dash Ideas

How about this for a new dash? I figure a little wood, fiberglass, and bondo could make it work. Also has anybody swaped the stock gauges out completly with after market deals? What kind of issues did you run into? The set I was looking at are made by Autometer (Designer Black) series.

BTW it's a 5" speedo, 3 3/8" tach on right, 3 3/8" quad gauge (temp,volt,fuel,pres), 2 1/16" clock in middle. 3 piece tilt,angle,compass on top.

Rattle Can

Well the time has come to finally lay a coat of paint on the pig. I've been in Louisiana for about 3 months now. It rains too often here to leave all the current rust spots uncovered. I decided that right now I'm just going to lay a coat of rattle can over the entire thing. I will do some on the inside as well. Pictures are going to follow tomorrow when I get started.

yep thats what I'm using. However I've got to be dumb. It's way hotter than I was expecting. I think it hit 96. Unfortunatly I was working on the roof section first and I don't have a garage where I'm at now. My intention was to do a little more than just stop some rust. I wanted to lay down a coat that would last for a year or two. Anyway it started raining around 2. So I just managed to clean out the rain channels and strip about a quarter of the roof. I primed those spots about 30 minutes before the downpour so I think I'm covered there.
