I would like to take a Moment and THANK big shout out to @gonzopancho ! :D

Thank You Sir. , with your LOAN of your Personal Factory T-SERIES locks and Factory KEYS and CODES T-SERIES , none of this would ever happen

From PIPE DREAM To REALITY !

I live near Miramar MCAS (formerly TopGun) and they do FA18 and FA22 Raptor touch n goes all day. Also get a lot of Osprey practice. Can be noisy sometimes but 'Murica!

This is a well documented Rear electric Window / drop down tail gate toyota inside and out refurbish off a 1967-1980
FJ55

I replaced all three 12 gauge leed , repaired the internals and made a correct working key from scratch and will
Be providing the client the T-series factory key code too ….

This makes 13 of these rascals under my belt now and this was by far the most imtense. And crusty age and time worn out well ..,

So here we go in cronologal step by step order

Note the contact pitting , this was the most severe i have see to date

It took me 3 times as long as I estimated from
The onset …

In the end A+ results as usual. 😎

Upon careful disassemble ;

I the interest of keeping this a “Technical Resource Thread” why don’t you show these guys how to dissemble and reassemble this lock/switch so they can rebuild their own.

Let’s also include the supplies they would need to complete this job!

I wouldn't mind an attempt at rebuilding one of my spares.

my photos above are in Chronological order , does this help ?

- parts of tackling one of these is the LOCK SMITH side / lock and key TECH . ....not sure how i can communicate that aspect ?

- remove the 3 screws on the rear IN A PLASTIG bag , take lots of pics too

- here is the final field bench test for function correct

Not really, it feels more like you call it "TECH" to circumvent @woody advertising rules down here. I'd like to see you offer some real tech in some of these threads and help these guys that like to do this stuff themselves and just need a few pointers "tech" to be able to be successful.
