Under the moonlight, the serious moonlight.
Well, I found this beauty on the local forum, and figured I could spare $750 to save her from the recycler as the owner's hands were tied and he had to have it gone. I'm not new to Cruisers, I've had my '71 40 for over 13 years now, but this is my first 60. I'm falling more in love with her everyday. I'm sure you'll find me lingering around the 60 forum on regular basis now. Here's some pics, she's an '83.

Enjoy.

Sweet deal on that King Bee, I'm looking to buy my first Cruiser. Checking out the forums keeps me inspired and excited about getting one. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

can you say...brand new tires, dang, im jealous :0

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I pulled the wheels off of my 40 in order for it to make the drive home. I haven't gotten around to putting the wheels back on yet. The wife wasn't exactly thrilled that I bought another Cruiser, I don't want to press my luck with a tire purchase just quite yet.

thats understandable! you just need to take her out on a couple adventures in it, once she starts to enjoy it spending a few bucks on it should be a little easier.

Does this mean there is another 60 out there that had a driver's seat, a back seat, and not passenger seat? Postal style baby!

I like the fender scoop in red. Worth every penny!! Congrats, and welcome to the wagon.

Different kind of postal maybe. No the seat was just bent but came with a replacement. Since I was cleaning it out, I removed the old seat and just haven't gotten around to replacing it. It's not registered as of yet, so it's just me driving it around in the field across from the house.

Holy cow. you got that thing really clean.

Did you buff it or something? haha
