No way man, that’s just grounds for me. I do about 35:450Are you filling that French press up? If so, you need more coffee in your french press!Looks like a weak brew otherwise. 1:12 coffee to water ratio by weight is what I aim for.
MMMM Teflon and silicone. Your gonna digress into Alzheimer's lol.Goose neck seems a little delicate for my camp box, but i just impulsed this goose neck for the home front.
Considering this for the kamp kitchen kettle
But I digress, this is the coleman thread, there's another coffee thread for these discussions![]()

you can get gaskets online for the 1 piece caps and the 3 piece caps. Watch out for replacing the one piece caps...I’m still looking for a technique that doesn’t draw blood with the dental picks!
A paint can opening tool is useful for putting the new ones in.
I usually disassemble the 3 pc caps and burn the old gasket on the plug to carbon with a plumbers torch. Clean and install new gasket, and re assemble. HTH.
Gotcha.I want to replace all my caps with the vent hole on the side to the new style that has the 4 vents in the cap threads. Just for safety. I do have some gaskets for the 3 piece caps, but they don't seem like it fits like the original.
COVID has made them pretty much unobtainable...
