Loosely mounted the valance panel for the visual effect. Dual exhaust is gonna look sweet poking out through those cut outs.

After test fitting and fiddling with the rear valance, I shot it with some primer. It's a race against the sun with my limited shaded area. Primer turned out pretty good. I am gonna spray some color on it later today.

While I wait for evening and shade......I decided to roll around under the 68. First i bolted the torque converter to the flexplate.

Since it has the Granada spindle and disc brakes, it requires a different tie rod end.
I originally installed Mustang ones and the fitment was poor. Makes sense now. The correct tie rod end has a slightly beefier stud and fits perfectly.

Thanks. I think it looks even better outside.

I cleaned and painted the black part of the dash and a pillars. The exposed bottom part of the dash will be blue. It needs alittle work and primer first though.

Like all my builds.....I jump around and work on many things at once. So, I worked on cleaning up the chrome bits that go with the new ignition, headlight, and turn signal switch. They were painted black.....now shiny chrome.
Also picked up a suitable lower radiator hose.
