Yesterday after spraying the interior of the trunk where the gas tank sits, my paint had a weird reaction. It was still tacky long after it was supposed to be dry. Well, it's dry this morning. I gave it a second coat and am calling it good.
Tank to be installed next.

lookin good! i hope the holley goes smoothly for you. i've installed three - two of them were amazing and fired up first try but the other had some very strange ignition issues (was a factory defect in the distributor) that holley really drug their feet on fixing. planning on doing a full terminator x kit for my truck soon.

Huge thanks to the guys at TAD driveshaft service for the super quick turnaround. Got it back today and it looks great.
Also had some other parts show up.....including the new rear valance with cut outs for the dual exhaust.

I think I solved another issue. My new power steering line didn't want to connect to the pump. After fiddling with different fittings, I think I have it fixed. Guess I'll find out after I add some juice and see if it leaks.

Power steering lines are bolted in and all seems well. I will add some heat wrap later. There's more room than appears.

This weekends project is the tail light panel conversion. Swapping in the Shelby / California Special panel that uses the disco sequential Cougar tail lights. I am armed with spot welds cutters that came from the parts stash.
