Today, Andrea found me my sculpin grapefruit i've been hunting... eaily in my top 10 right now, damn tasty

Then also she says she found me a surprise and gives me this!!! For a pretty rare beer only released once a year in November that's amazing. She found it without a price sitting on a dusty shelf by itself... scored it for $4.... normally >$8

Tried some Sweet Baby Jesus this weekend. Not my favorite but with a name like that I had to try. The Hoppium IPA was pretty good though. Had a Winter Solstice seasonal ale last night and it was pretty tasty.

Anyone tried any of the napa smith brewery selections??

I may pick up some porters for some friends and try and not drink them before I get home this time. But I will be camping my way back to gso


Bonfire is their Porter and the hopageddon is their ipa offering. Haven't been able to pull the trigger for all the other tasty selections here in Asheville

Scored a Habanero Sculpin IPA by Ballast Point...

I gotta say this is taking some work...

Has a Good zing and bizarre yet intriguing aftertaste that leaves you wanting more. Though it's strange that I'm getting more thirsty as I go....

I keep trying spicy beers but cant grab ahold of the taste.. Which is weird since I love spicy food.... I keep hearing good stuff about the sculpin though so ill try it

Awesome, amazing and a bit dirty at the same time. Will never look at a spicy beer the same way again.

All you guys posting ballast point are killing me! Doesn't seem that we get that out here, which seems a bit crazy. Enjoy for us.

I'm looking forward to trying these beers. My first bottle from Burial (Asheville) - have had it on tap - three different - -all been great. Also my first taste of Haw River Brewery. Of course, I have had the rest in the picture.

Burial is a Saison brewed with "golden beets, hibiscus, cherry and Ginseng"
Haw is Rye Tripel aged in a Oak Red Wine Barrel.
