Kenny, you're getting ripped off. At our local Mexican place, we get 32oz draft Dos Equis Amber for $4. And we're in Cary!

They have that also on draft, but it gets warm by the time I get halfway through it. I'd rather have 2 cold bottles for $5.00!

Your membership in this club is officially suspect...

Draft beer sux and gives me a big ole headache. I dispute the saying that bottle beer is just draft beer in a bottle. Al, I pace myself so I can drink mass quantities of cheap beer. You guys can have that expensive IPA stuff! Terry, I'm just on a higher quantity tolerance level than most of you young bucks so I have no need to be a member of the designer beer club. ;)

By the way, this was my first post in this thread IIRC, and will probably be the last one! Flip off

Had a great, fattening beer week this week. Joanna brought over some Anchor Steam and some HogWild. Jason then brought over the following selection. Notice the theme?

You guys are rubbing off on me-while bourbon is still my favorite, I am developing a taste for good beer. My haul from Tasty tonight, then headed to Trophy for beer and pizza and a tour of the brewery. Awesome place!

Be careful if that creme brulee one. It tastes good at first but is soooooo sweet it almost sends you into a diabetic coma.

Who makes it? Firefly?

Sorry I missed this, Meatball. The distiller is Chicken Cock Whiskey in Charleston, SC. It's not bad but it isn't gonna become my brown liquor of choice. They've got cinnamon and root beer flavors, too, but our ABC only had the Spiced. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find something good to mix it with if you can't handle it straight.

Man I'm jealous: I've heard about that beer for years and never had a chance to try it.

How did you get it shipped to your house?
