Watched the new Obi-wan show. I enjoyed it. Wont say anything else so i won't spoil anything. Was also able to watch a Mandelorian season 3 trailer, it looks crazy good.

So last week we had the extremely incompetent bounty hunters who can’t even run down a small child, today we had a whole episode of space hobo riding around in a pick up truck in So Cal (space Joshua trees) before not being able to walk around a laser gate that literally you can walk around and then space hobo running from Darth Vader.

My seven-year-old thinks this is dumb. I have nothing to say.

Agreed. Same with the fire charade at the charade.

Vader makes fire, then takes away fire. However when the girl reignites the fire he just stands there and let’s them get away. Not to mention the whole hallway teleportation thing.

The show seems inconsistent at times with the movies and even itself and the inconsistencies seem to be growing.
Ben was impossible to find for a decade then within hours several different people good and bad find him, contact him, connect to him etc

Why would the girl wait a decade to kidnap leia. How would leia, her family or her planet not be attacked by Vader after this


I want to like this show and I did enjoy the first 2 episodes though I felt they were rushing through time periods instead of letting the importance of meetings build up. The more I think about Vader and him fighting on this episode the more of a let down it’s become. I think I preferred it when they didn’t see each other during the time between episode 3 and 4 and Ben is old then.

I like it. For some reason the issues with the show don't bug me too much. In regards to Vader he is a villain with basically split personalities. I haven't read the books, but from what i know Vader is the tyrant that usually is in control. But sometimes Anakin shows up and causes a conflict within. Anakin will consider turning good then realize hes too far gone and let the dark side continue to consume him which is Vader. The books supposedly explain it more. On top of that he probably doesn't understand why Obi wan isn't really using the force. I don't understand Reva beating Leia. I was sick for like 3 months and off of work, so I watched all the star wars stuff and know some of this.

I’ve wanted to take a deep dive on Star Wars and catch up on all the animated shows and a few of the more praised books like the ones from timothy zahn but life gets in the way and hobbies get pushed asid.
I hear great things about the cannon out there for it. I love looking at the props people make
