First coat of ceramic is down.

Unfortunately one of these tubs Tony bought awhile back is bad.

That’s alright though, we have four gallons and it should be enough.

Now the fun begins!

Put the mats in quick style for my old knees.

Something this Troopy never had in its previous life.

Now that is for a 2020-ish 78/79-series. The original 75-series is NLA. It will take a little bit of trimming but it fits reasonably well and is a nice finisher for the inside of the firewall.

I ❤️ final assembly! 😋🤌

Not sure I mentioned it before but the Troopy originally had no tilt steering column.

We decided to upgrade to a tilt column so I got this one from @joekatana

It is a good column but we want to refresh it so I tore it all down.

These parts are ready to go out for power coat.

Dash firewall pad got trimmed to suit the 75-series firewall, I think it came out good.

This joint and shaft (the u-joint is welded to the shaft) was the only one not in good shape. There is no play in the joint but it is real crunchy. So I ordered a new shaft that comes with the joint. A few bearings and some powder coat and the tilt column will be rebuilt and ready to go for decades.

It was decided to do the main steel dash frame in satin black powder coat so cleaning it up and sending it out with the rest of our parts for powder.
