I could spot weld the holes, but all that welding makes me nervous on the truck. Seems like you are risking splatter burns in the good paint on the truck. Any insight?

U-pol liner

Well here we go. I decided to bondo all of the holes. I had just finished sound deadening the whole truck, so the holes were covered on the back side. This was my first experience with bondo and I think it turned out pretty good. Just got finished spraying the first coat, and I am letting it flash dry for an hour, and then doing another coat.

Wow, you don't mess around. Looks good. Keep it coming...

:eek::eek::eek:

That looks great!!!

You're about 6 months ahead of where I plan to be with my '97 LX450 (which should get delivered in the next couple of weeks).

Looks great and has me drooling as well as chomping at the bit.

The only thing I plan on doing different to mine is adding a snorkel.

Great work!

Well Done

I have the same lx450. I have to say that looks stellar. I want to do that to mine! :cheers:

Thanks for the nice words. We are headed out for our first adventure on Saturday. No good wheeling, but headed to CB to hit the slopes for a few days with the kiddos. Hopefully my seat leather will be here when I get back.

I am using aatlas leather package. The steering wheel is in good shape.

Looks great!

I use the U-POL Raptor on the floors of all my resto's It is fantastic, and wont hide dents and seams, but forgiving and offers great protection.
