Hi Mike,
what one could see today at their site is that a full catalogue of their products and prices will be available soon.
Let us hope and wish them so!...🤞

PS. Other than reading French, nothing in common with them, no affiliation lol!

Having watched the videos of the fire, I wonder how many of the current list of projects were actually destroyed or if the company has rebuilt facilities and reacquired the stamping machinery, so that these are new creations rather than older previously completed ones?

I got an email from Lena that they were trying to fill existing orders for tubs and the wait is now over 1 year but they are making tubs again. Not sure on the restoration work.

Yesterday, while France is in confinement, the building housing Teseven burnt down.

For those who don't know, Teseven is a French 40-series restauration company that recently sold one for more than 100k€ on auction: Rétromobile 2020 | Vente n°3980 | Lot n°89 | Artcurial
Some may know them for the stainless body they were selling at start.

They were still posting new projects on their Facebook page 2 days ago: Teseven Toyota Classic

I can say I'm not a big fan of how they do their restaurations and the bling around it but I must say they did not deserved that 😢

We can only see what is outside but the best ones and the most advanced projects were probably inside 😭

No info on how this happened at this time.
3 craftsman companies were housed in this building and it seems people were working inside at time the fire started (but don't know from which companies).
Kind of a new meaning to French fried. Hah. Sorry couldn’t help myself

The wait was over a year before the fire. At least it was for my tub. Glad to hear they are up and running.

Very weird Mike that you dont get a response. I always got a response from them when I had a question. Sometimes took a few days, but they always got back to me. Hope they do soon.

Thank you Terrax !

Two days later, the good news have been announced at the German site too!

It seems that 40-Series are like Phoenix, the mythological bird...

Did not hear anything.
LEKMA, a French manufacturer of all the body parts, comparable to TESEVEN (and offering OEM parts at fair prices too!), ceased the operation of his internet site...
https://www.landcruiser.fr/
It seems that everybody is waiting for the Chinese...

PS. 17 years ago there were no Teseven or Lekma in the old continent, so I ordered a half tub (all the rear part in pieces) from CCOT. The parts should be brought to Germany, very expensive but they worked out well. I am not sure if today this the way to go (at least in Europe), but as you're in TX, you could, perhaps, consider it as an option Mike...

Cheers!
Demetrios

Lekma is still in operation and busy as far as I know but it's a one man show and not the most well organized... Over here it's generally considered the best replacement body parts (with the Portuguese of Cruiser Works also) but you need a lot of perseverance contacting him directly or passing through someone that knows him...

Teseven I think they are only making complete restauration now (and toys...), but even that they don't seem to deliver a lot of them.

This is good news concerning LEKMA, thank you Félix.
Yes, the works of these man, when one could visit his internet site, were impressive, to say the least.
Hope he will survive the oncoming Chinese competition...

I really don’t want to support the communists. Terror, slavery ,mass jailings and murder I dont wish to support.
All very good points. I've seen the new tubs and thought about them... but with those thoughts in mind, I'd rather just pass.

As far I know they are making tubs still. I met Fabien back in 2014 in France and those are the best tubs, I've seen. Metal, Aluminum, Stainless and he even made a brass one for his 40. Here's contact info: contact@teseven-toyotaclassic.com

Hi, They used to have a web site. Is there still one?
