Well are they replacing the rear main for free or what?

Seriously? They just put that s*** in!! Criminals.

You can run for tens of thousands of miles with a rear main leak. Just keep the oil topped off.

What about the coolent want that mess something up. Like rust or something.

What dealership? Didn't they just rebuild the motor? If so, they should take care of that - without doubt.

I still think you have more tests to do and report back your results.

I have to agree with Darin here. The staff at dealerships are trained to work on newer toyotas and have little experience with your truck. Also there are too many hands in the pot trying to make money off you there. They will probably do some free work to avoid a lawsuit if they are responsible for the repair but you have to navigate the bullsh## to get it. Then they will try to sell you more than you need. Bring your truck to someone who knows about them.

Please take it to a reputable Cruiser shop up by your place. You already said you do not have money to throw at it. It "could " be the cooler yes. But please read my reply over on FB first. Then tell me if that is what it is doing. You say you want our help then please help us help you.

replacing the rear main seal wont solve the missing coolant issue....perhaps your water pump is leaking?

I know that's why I said a head gasket or a oil cooler that when it gets warm it leaks In

So. The first post says coolant in the oil correct ? Have you done a warm pressure test ? Then a leak down test ?
Not a warm that's soon tho.

Please do both of those tests before you replace anything else unless you just want to.
I mean it's not going to be fixed any time soon. Just getting ideas. What's a leak down test consent of

First and foremost, have someone that knows what the hell they are looking at check your motor out. NOT THE DEALER

I do not know if I am following correctly but, if the dealer worked on your motor and this is the result they are LIABLE, PERIOD

I get it that you are a young man and do not have the experience that some of us older guys do, but do not take this lying down. DO NOT. You must stand up and fight for your rights. Go past the service manager straight to the general manager first. Explain that all you want is what is right and that you are fully prepared to go to the media. THE MEDIA!! This scares the crap out of them.

We do a lot of things in life that are our own fault, sounds like this is not one of them. STAND UP

I gotta agree with Stan, Darin and the others man. Don't hesitate to show your ass if needed. Well not literally of course. ;) I don't care what these people say, they CAN fix it. If you push the right buttons they will make it right. Good luck dude. I would top off the fluids, and drive that heifer back and forth in front of the dealer with a flag screaming about the issue all day if needed. Facebook, twitter...negative word of mouth gets the point across and they know how much that hurts their business.
