Any word from the crew (Kraderbak, DanKunz et al..) trying to get a Tellico trip together in October/November?

I think the problem is that Dan Kunz realizes with the 3fe, he would have to leave now and drive straight through with the lil 3fe to make it there in time. Bwahahaha. :flipoff2:

If thats a problem just tell Dan he can throw a strap to my FZJ and I'll tow him along with my 40. :D

Is there talk of a Tellico Trip? If so, I'm in big time, Tellico is a 3.5-4 hour jaunt in the 80. (5 hours in the 40).

That be pretty cool to get a bunch of 80's guys off the list at tellico for some wheelin southern style. :D (bring your swampers boys and girls)

That was the talk. I'm leaving this thread here since it was a gathering of 80's, although no one will chase away any others. I'm hoping this thing still pulls together.

I'm up for it!!! Lets get this thing going!! Any others?

hmmmmm..i might be in. I would like to have my sliders finished first. I guess it depends on the date. I'm about 4 hours away.

Bluegrass Cruisers and possibly Leaky Seals are at Windrock the weekend of November 5-7, which is where I'll be wheeling next. Check it out:

Any and all are welcome. We're staying at the Comfort Inn in Oak Ridge, arriving Friday afternoon. Nothing especially organized, just a bunch of folks who want to wheel.

FYI: There's a group of Toyotas on Yotatech that will be at Tellico on Nov 5-7th. Camping at Crawford's Campground. So far, there's a bunch of 4Runners and Tacoma's and one FZJ80. So far about 37 people who have committed, of which I expect about 20-25 to actually show up with about 15 or so rigs. It looks like there will be at least 2 and maybe 3 groups. One - mostly stockers - will do the easy stuff. Two - lifted and locked - will do some moderate trails. Three - 35's+ and double locked - MAY do some of the difficult trails. We're planning on getting there Friday afternoon and wheeling all day Sat, then heading home Sun. We're going to try to meet up at slickrock or one of the crossings for lunch on Sat. If you're interested, login over on yotatech.com and put your name on the list. Give Crawford's a call if you want a campsite.

Oddly I would qualify for the "difficult trails." :)

We may make a jaunt over your way at some point. Swing on by Windrock after you break all your junk. ;)

ROLL TIDE!!! Bring some 80's out, so I'm not the only huge thing on the trails w/ these 4Runner's!

If I can get the 40 ready to drive that far and make it home I might come down there for that. I live close enough to the Bluegrass to hang out with them since OH doesn't really have much of a chapter. Do the BG cruisers have a website?

They don't. You could email Pete Brown about it though:

<peblaw@yahoo.com>

They have three 40s coming, and two damned good mechanics, so there and back ought to be possible.

ahhh...cool, I'm still a 40 newbie and working out some bugs on it but i have been DD it for the past few weeks.
