Well, I just got back last night from spending two days at Ozark Overland Outfitters in West Plains MO. Jason and his crew made the whole experience painless. Knowing it’s my daily driver with long trips in the future Jason:

* replaced weather stripping on all 4 doors
* replaced all the old brake lines, pads and fluid
* fixed the 3 common oil leaks
* replaced tie rod ends
* packed rear wheel bearings
* addressed birfields
* installed a heavy duty knuckle rebuild kit
* aligned front end
* replaced spark plus tubes and valve cover gasket
* replaced vacuum lines
* inspected all belts and hoses and replaced as needed
* flushed radiator and block and filled with Toyota red
* replaced fluids in front and rear differential and transfer case
* replaced fluids in automatic transmission

And probably some other stuff I’m missing on the list.

I’m sure some of you will shake your heads and wonder why I didn’t address this myself and save money. Well, I wanted it done right and I trust Jason coupled with the fact that although I’m in good shape and health, I am 70 and lack the necessary tools and facilities. I’m posting this to give Ozark Overland Outfittets a shout out. I don’t think you could ask for a more knowledgeable, courteous and professional staff.

Coupled with the work he did two years ago, I think the rig is fairly baselined and ready to drive anywhere. Thanks for the outstanding work Jason.

Sounds like a solid maintenance check! I've been looking to take my 97' up to them from Bella Vista. It's just finding the time to get up there! I am quickly approaching 150k miles on mine and looking to get the same exact maintenance done, would you mind messaging me with at least a round about estimate of what you paid for this service? Cheers!

Here you go.
