It looks like Saturday works well for most people.
Saturday 10/19 sound OK then?
Does late afternoon sound OK? Maybe 4PM ? Any other suggestions on a time?

The management at Whisky Joes got back to me today.
They were very receptive, and it looks like access to, and parking on the beach, won't be a problem.
Showed them a couple of pics of the Gandy get together, and they thought it was cool!
The problem is, the 19th, they have 300 people already booked for the beach. They'll have the whole place sewn up for the day.
They said that if we decide to do it another day, they can accommodate us (Gave me a list of dates), and could put together a buffet, Tiki Bar, etc., so obviously there's some cost involved.
Here are the available dates (for beach parking):
21 through 30 October
2nd & 3rd of November (Saturday & Sunday).
Of course, we could always just meet there, have them make us a space to park together, etc.
Another option is to use Ben T. Davis Beach right next door.
I'm not sure what time they close the gates, but I think it's at sundown, 7-8 pm or so. No alcohol allowed on the beach, and no direct access to drive onto the beach.
And we could always do the Gandy again.
Suggestions anyone??

I like the idea of Whiskey Joes. Gandy is good for an evening but so-so for a weekend day.
I wouldn't go all out and have them go all out and set up a tiki bar for us or anything like that. Turnout can be unpredictabe.
I could make a Sat Oct 26th date, unfortunately not the Nov 2/3. But don't rule it out because of one person (me).
We could always push it back too.
Is Sat Oct 26th convenient for anyone/everyone or is it too soon for anyone to plan? More lead time better?

When you mentioned tiki bar and buffet, my first thoughts was hell yeah! I'll chip in.
The 26th is good for me. (I can't do the 19th due to a wedding) I want to go whenever Steve goes.

Unfortunately, to be able to park on the beach at Whiskey Joes, we're probably going to have to do a buffet or something along that line. They have a pretty nice little section of beach there along the cove on the bay, but it's also in pretty high demand.
After Thanksgiving and through the holidays, you can pretty much forget it.
What time are we thinking if we do a weekend?
I have plans for dinner on the 26th with some friends. The wife has planned a B-day dinner, and as much as I love the place, I don't think she's planning on WJ's
Other than that, I'm open, but as Steve said, don't plan around me.
Let me know what time and date works for everyone, and I'll see what I can do to set it up. I'll get a cost figure, and we'll go from there.
