I work in an art foundry and make molds all the time. I recentally purchased a 76'Fj55 and it is in great shape other than the rear window upper weather stripping.. Mine is missing small pieces so I am looking for a complete piece (set) even if it is torn and cracked becouse I think I can make a mold of it and make copies..If someone has one that is complete!!! even in bad shape let me know and if it works I will give you a set at no cost.
I really do not want to pay 240$ for a new one.
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

This would be cool!

Is it piece 3?

Michael,

I'll look on my donor rig to see if I have what you are looking for, unless someone else has one handy.

GREAT looking 55!

#3 is available for purchase from pvcruisers.com. Not affiliiated, but I know what he went through to get that stuff made and fully advocate supporting the guys who go out of their way to make parts for our aging swine. IMO worth the cost. I have a set and it fits like OEM.

I'll second this!! The rubber from PV Cruisers fits really well and is well worth the price. It also has the flocking for the window to slide in as well.

Those who think that the price is too high should try pricing current weatherstripping and you'll soon see that PV's prices are more than reasonable. Similar pieces for my BJ60 were double the price!

76pumpkinpig-

isn't the 55 in your pic the one that was driving around st george, utah for sale a couple months ago? sweet ride...
