Hello Copper State Cruisers! I'm AZ-Ted from the Arizona Xterra Club (AZXC), and I wanted to give you guys a heads up about a cleanup out at Table Mesa on November 6, 2010. There will be many clubs out there on Nov 6th, and it would be cool to see you guys again (we have also attended all 3 cleanups at 4 Peaks).

My apologies if this has already been posted, I searched and didn't see a thread on it.

Tnx for the heads up Ted. Most of us don't think that far ahead, you might want to give us a reminder close to the date, I'm sure you'll get some takers.

Here is the flyer that I created for the cleanup:

I have also attached a copy of the pdf version of the flyer.

This is shaping up to be a big event with many clubs participating. I hope to see the Copper State Cruisers there.

I just got word that Four Wheeler magazine will be at the cleanup! You've got two weeks to get your mods finished up!! Who knows, your ride might appear in the magazine!!!

Word has it that there will be a lot of rigs from AzLCA out there, so ya don't want them to get ALL the credit, do you? John

I found out I have to be in Lake Havasu that weekend.

Speaking of getting mods done ... Anyone interested in helping me redo my suspension ?? Replacing the old home made looking shackles with the ones from CCOT. I was also planning on replacing the steering stabilizer and all the suspension bushings.

As far as the clean up goes, I should be able to help out.

Did anyone else make it to this ??
Yup. About 400+ total showed up. Did a great job of cleaning up the area. Three of the big dumpsters filled to the brim, plus a huge pile of tires and scrap steel to recycle. I'm pretty sure AzTed will be posting up official results soon. John

I made it. I just don't know many in the club and wasn't sure who else made it.

There was a TON of trash. I haven't lived in Phoenix very long and I have neer been to that area, BUT I have never seen so much crap in one place. I mean how many A-Holes live in this town ?? I mean is it really that hard to do some basic cleaning up after yourself ??

just today, we were talking about that to a colleague who grew up in El Paso - apparently, it is no better over there :frown:  :bang:

LOL.

I think I was the only 60 out there. Lots of Jeeps, a few nice 80s, one he!! of 40. I was really surprised how many Xterras there were out there.

Clauadia ... I'm from GA and TN ... It is nothing like that there. Nothing !!
