swing-out tire carrier for OE bumper (1 Viewer)

specifically i'm wondering how the swing-out spindle thingy (sorry for being so technical) is mounted under the plastic corner piece of the rear bumper. I have been looking at the one on slee's site, and like stock rear bumper, just don't see how or what it would mount to under the plastic.

Any pics would be appreciated.
