Sunroof leak repair (1 Viewer)

I am curious if anyone has figured out a design to 3D print the trim pieces that crumble when you try taking them off the 80 series sunroof.

Well, I'm calling shady part seller shenanigans... Apparently some sellers are selling the seal by the meter, some of them without any mention of the fact, some of them listing it in the smallest of buried small print. Seems more than a little dishonest to chop off a single meter without contacting the customer since it's not going to be useful to ANYONE.

@Malleus You're allowed one smug chuckle and an "I told you so", because I absolutely should have known better.

I should have measured how much I used. Didn’t realize that. The seal I had was meant for a much larger sunroof so lots left over. I guess you could just measure the dimensions of the sunroof to find out how much is needed. If anyone one is considering this repair and happens to be close to Vancouver BC, I’d be happy to hook you up with the seal.

Yeah, I think this was simply a low-rent parts house that doesn't care if its customers are happy. Every vehicle listed had a panoramic sunroof, and 1 meter wouldn't fit anything. I'm honestly having a laugh at myself for not seeing it coming.
