Heritage 2020
SILVER Star
Greetings All,
I joined the LC200 page in ih8mud to learn from others who provide so much in terms of knowledge and support of our Land Cruisers.
To those who provide constructive solutions and answers (the videos are great as are the links) to questions from members—thank you.
If you are not a Land Cruiser enthusiast, I don’t understand why you derive pleasure from debating the shortcomings of a vehicle that enthusiasts love.
@wngrog is an example of a respected friend and LC enthusiast, whom I always look forward to posts—as he focuses on what we can benefit from as a community vs. getting into teenage pissing matches over. I especially enjoy the fact that he is extremely knowledgeable, shares his positive experiences and lessons—and also happens to reside a few hours south of me.
Just an idea as it could minimize trolling and endless back/forths over topics such as:
-Personal values
-Oil
-Dealer vs Independent Shops
-Air filters
-Tires
-Modifications
NOTE: For several engineering minded folks on this page who’ve met me and know me well, I believe they understand that I prefer solutions to problems vs. the endless “my view is correct and yours is wrong”.
I learn a great deal on the 200 Cruiser page from folks who post solutions and constructive feedback regarding experiences with their 200 Series.
To those who do that,…, thank you as I learn so much from our PMs and from our shared professionalism/knowledge base. I’ve met good, people, via PM and in person along the journey.
To those who enjoy arguing, trolling, or simply arguing/debating—carry on and I hope you gain satisfaction out of being right on social media. Trolls will be trolls I suppose.
In closing, I look forward to continuing to learn from my friends who provide objective data—and will continue to understand that for some, being contrarian without any empirical data nor insight is their preference.
Good for bitching as well—as that’s reality.
Trolls lives matter in the diversity and inclusion spectrum, lol.
