After reviewing the above pics, I think one of the mods needs to move a few of these pics to a "submerged" catagory. Half of you guys should just install fricken periscopes in your trucks.

Great pics just grateful it wasn't me.

Worse I ever had (in Oregon) was when I dropped it in a rut (due to crappy tires) going up hill. High lift and some digging & it was down the road again. Most of the getting stuck I do is in commute traffic. But only on the rare occassion.

here's one.... not a 'Cruiser being stuck. But a gas truck. Couldn't get it unstuck either, they had to use a backhoe.

here is another one of someone else being stuck... easy enough to tug him out

I'm still looking for more pics of myself, heaven knows I've been stuck enough times, there must be evidence ...

here's one!

really stupid: pulled off the road in Belize to take a leak. Didn't see the bottomless hole on the shoulder... dropped right into it. Was sitting on the axle housing.

self recovery was, fortunately, easy: lock ARB, put it in low, deflate rear tires to get traction on the slipperly grass, reverse. Done.

and my very first stuck in a 'Cruiser:

Near San Felipe. Sand. Bald tires. Novice driver.
A couple of beers and a lot digging.... then our buddy popped us out and we camped about 10 feet away. Should've just left the truck there till morning...

keep 'em coming!

Dude,
that is great, an all of a sudden oh SH!T moment.

I wish I had one to contribute....I need to get out more:cheers:.

The Dude,
Holy Crap, that picture doesn't do it justice until you see a picture with someone beside the rig. That is a huge rig - we don't have any ice where I live so I can't attest to breaking through ice, but that must have been a ride.

A big John Deer tractor...and even then it was a bit sketchy. With out the high lift my rear bumper was on the ice.

It was a stupid moment. I should have known better. By the time we got out the hood was under water...
