While I was installing my fumoto valve the threads on the oil pan just stripped on me. I was trying to torque the fumoto valve (F103N) to 30ft-lbs as per the service manual. Before I could reach the torque spec, the threads stripped on me. This left the fumoto valve stuck and I'm able to spin it by hand. Can't back it out or tighten the valve.
I've decided to replace the lower oil pan. Does the new pan need a gasket or do the 200's use RTV?
Looking at this the dealer parts website and I can't find a gasket for it

Oh god bless your soul @TonyP. Going to get the parts and some equivalent RTV gasket maker.
Thanks!!!!

You're certainly doing it the right way. How I would do it - grab the Fumoto with some vice grips, pull down while backing it out. Clean everything up and put the Fumoto back in with some JB Weld, let it set up for 24 hours. You should be good to go for the life of the vehicle.

It may be worth making sure your torque wrench is still working. A year or two ago I snapped a couple bolts and it turned out the wrench was just broken.

That's always good advice. I've messed up a couple studs before due to a over torquing wrench. But for this case, I used it to torque down spark plugs after I gave up on the oil pan. 14lbs and it seemed to work just fine.

Wow, "tighten the bolts and nuts within 15 minutes", let's see 16 bolts/nuts, less than a minute per. I don't move that fast anymore! :)

I would try backing it out while pulling hard. It might be the brass in the fumoto valve that stripped and not the threads in the pan.

Tried doing that already. No luck! The damn thing is stuck on there. But new valve and pan r in the mail :D.
This time around, I won't be torquing the valve to 30lbs like the stock drain plug. Fumoto recommends the following for the F103N valve
Model# - F-103, F103N, F103S, F103SX
Thread size: M12-1.25
Torque in inch-lbs - 177
Torque in ft-lbs - 15
