STOP, collaborate and listen.....Tundra brake swap

Here are the lines off of their respective vehicles, 200 top, Tundra bottom. Please note that both types are rigidly supported at both ends to prevent the lines from being easily knocked or pulled loose through various means including rotation. The 200 rubber line does not pass through a grommet, but is swaged to the bracket that is bolted to the knuckle. The banjo fitting has an additional 90 degree nub that locks into a hole on the caliper, again, this prevents rotation of the banjo and the loosening that can come with it.

Gentlemen, found out today I need new rotors and pads. The iron is hot for the Tundra brake upgrade. I've reviewed the relevant threads, but wanted to check with the braintrust for any important updates.

1) bjowett, you decided not to offer the 360mm upgrade, correct?

2) For the pre-16 Tundra caliper/rotor conversion, is anyone aware of new sources for the brake line to make this an easy bolt-on job, or do I still need to order custom lines from Essex?

3) Did anyone ever determine the spacing of the 16+ LC caliper mounting bolts? Is it possible/feasible to ream and tap the knuckle from M12 to M14 to accept 16+ LC calipers?

4) Alternatively, will a 16+ LC knuckle fit a pre-16? (...$$$$ starting to mount...)

5) Finally, anyone know of an aftermarket rotor/caliper big brake type kit that will fit under an 18" wheel?

Thanks in advance!

#3: it's far from definitive but when you look up a 2013 vs 2017 knuckle online there appear to be caliper mounting ears in different spots. The following part numbers are right hand knuckles for a US URJ200
2013: 43211-60190
2017: 43211-60230
You can try doing the same for the calipers but I got a lot of clearly unrelated hits in google image search.

#4: I priced it out a while back and seem to remember a total in the neighborhood of $3k for knuckles, hubs, and brake parts. But, it should bolt up.

I'd personally like the larger hardware of a 16+ setup but am resigning to your option #2 being the most likely path forward here.

I ran the OEM hard line from the caliper to the knuckle bracket. Then got extended lines to go from the knuckle to the frame.
If you do the swap, just order soft lines from the frame to the knuckle. Check with @atwals. I think he went that route. Once you know the length and fittings it's easy to order.

Thanks to both of you for the response.

@TexAZ, I’m assuming you mean the Tundra OEM hardline?

Also, did you guys go with braided steel soft lines or just OEM rubber? Heard braided gives you firmer brake feel, but can’t tell when they’re leaking. I’ve never had a leaking brakeline, so it that really a problem I need to worry about with braided?

Looks like I will be ordering the following front SS brake lines:

715 frame male Stainless Steel connection to hardline, 20-00085-SS tab locator, 419 Stainless Steel swivel 90deg caliper male connection.

will update once I have prices that I receive from EssexParts.com, SpieglerUSA will not sell directly.
Hi,
what was the outcome of this? Did the lines work? Were the fittings correct? What length did you order and what year is your track? Any lift?

I'm going Tundra TRD calipers (16" rotors) and need lines. I have no lift.
Motorcycle Performance Parts | Custom Motorcycle Access - https://spieglerusa.com/ is now accepting orders directly. I got a quote of less than $68 with stainless steel fittings.

Thanks
