step-down for a 06 taco (1 Viewer)

hey guys...
wondering if anyone has seen or whether they even make a 'step-down' for a ball mounted on to the bumper. i don't have a 2" style hitch installed, just the ball on the bumper. the problem is that is way too high for the utility trailer i use. i don't really want to put a hitch on because i want to keep the clearance in the back.... someone maybe suggested dropping the axle under the leaf on the trailer, but that would only give about 2" or so. i need about 8" to 10"

Rather than drop from the truck's ball you might remake the trailer tongue to bring the receiver up to the level you need. A trailer outfit can do this easily - not sure on a price.

Here's some light duty options that should be easy to use, you can use a regular drop hitch with it to get your trailer level.

or make a custom bumper or buy one with a reciever in it? Of course the expensive route..
