No body lift? Sure looks like she could use one.

Trimmed some fat on the lower quarter panel. Gained couple of inches of up travel

LOL.......well put. Yes Subtle.....

I can definitely tell when the KDSS "kicks in" on road. I don't love the feeling of going from squish to firm at a defined point instead of progressively - it kind of unnerving on the mountain roads I regularly drive.

Are you sure thats what you are feeling? I ask because on pavement, it should remain in its locked state…including curvy mountain highways. Its only when one wheel on a side hits a significant bump that the other wheel does not that anything should change or release. On pavement, thats just about never unless going over some nasty speed bump.

Doing it the hard way. But should result in the lowest possible COG over a body lift for 37s. Props!

Perhaps not, but the stock non premium GX suspension would rattle your teeth out. Super stiff with very little flex. It made compact snow/ice and dirt roads dangerous because it was so stiff the tires would lose contact over ruts (I didn't buy the premium as I knew I was going to rip the suspension out and didn't want to deal with the electronics even though a diode would do it).

The 200 has exactly the same characteristics, but without the harshness of the stock GX suspension. So two truck, similarly loaded, same KDSS, same roads, speeds, and with very different suspensions with the same characteristics.

On my FJ-62 I spent dozens and dozens of hours tuning the leaves, shock valving and anti-sway bar characteristics. In regards to roll stability nothing made as much difference as the sway bar. I made a lot of mistakes on that suspension because I was learning including way overly stiff springs and valving. The FJ-62 comes front and rear sway bars and first I fab'd adjustable extended links to set the geometry of the bar back to stock. Huge difference. Then I went to bigger Whiteline bars. Again, big jump in stability. Then I was able to lighten the valving and pull leaves out the spring packs. All without impacting roll. I was seriously considering going to Currie bars but there was just too much in the way.

So... yeah only two KDSS data points so it may indeed not be the KDSS but where else would it be given the above? Not being snippy, serious question. I'm open to all suggestions because I want it gone :)

It may also be entirely in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has different things they are sensitive to. Every suspension mod that I made to the FJ-62 I'd ask my wife if she could tell because it felt so much better to me. The only time she said yes was after I completely rebuilt the front axle, fixed the f- preload shims on the knuckle bearing and everything else that the PO had screwed up, added +3* caster shims and rebuilt the steering box. That she felt - track perfectly at 75 in heavily rutted freeways after all that.
